Hary Tanoesoedibjo

Indonesian citizen, he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada in 1988, and MBA from Ottawa University in 1989.

He is the founder, controlling shareholder and Executive Chairman of MNC Group, which focuses on three business activities: Media, Financial Services, and Lifestyle Property, under the main holding company PT MNC Investama Tbk. He directly controls three subsidiaries of PT MNC Investama Tbk, namely:

PT Global Mediacom Tbk, the largest and the most integrated media group in South East Asia. Global Mediacom is the parent company of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk or MNC which has 4 national FTA televisions: RCTI, MNCTV, GTV, iNewsTV, the largest portal, and as well as various digital platforms including its famous streaming service called RCTI+. MNC also produces the largest content and owns the largest content library and talent management. (

Global Mediacom is also the parent company of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (MVN) which owns the largest Pay TV providers with the brand MNC Vision and K-Vision, the third largest IPTV and broadband operation called MNC Play. MVN also operates the largest OTT service called Vision+. (

PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk, the financial holding company that owns a number of subsidiaries in the financial sectors: MNC Bank, MNC Life, MNC Insurance, MNC Finance, MNC Leasing, MNC Sekuritas, MNC Asset Management and SPIN (Smart Payment Indonesia), a financial technology platform in the area of e-money, e-wallet and digital remittance. (

PT MNC Land Tbk, the parent company of subsidiaries focusing on lifestyle property development and management. Its portfolio includes several office buildings and hotels in Jakarta & Surabaya as well as the most prestigious entertainment & lifestyle projects in Indonesia, such as MNC Lido City, MNC Bali Resort, Park Hyatt Jakarta, and The Westin Resort & Convention Centre in Bali. (

As a prominent entrepreneur, he actively interacts with the government and parliament in economic matters and regularly gives speeches at various national and international media events, as well as general lectures in hundreds of universities across Indonesia covering entrepreneurship and management.

Syafril Nasution - Commissioners

Syafril Nasution

An Indonesian citizen born in 1961, Syafril Nasution was appointed Commissioner on December 20, 2018 as stated within the Deed of Meeting Resolution No. 57 dated December 20, 2018. In 2018 until present, he concurrently serves as Commissioner of PT MNC Tbk. He has been serving as Director of Corporate Affairs of PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia since 2009, and Director of Corporate Secretary of MNC Group since 2016. He has also been Commissioner of PT Cipta Televisi Pendidikan Indonesia (MNCTV) since 2014.

Previously, he took on roles as President Director of PT Linktone Indonesia (known today as PT MNC Okezone Network) in 2017-2018, President Director of PT MNC Infrastruktur Utama (2013-2014), Director PT MNC Tol Investama (2013-2015), President Director PT Indonesia Transport & Infrastructure Tbk (2009-2016), President Director (2010-2013) of PT Sun Televisi Networks (currently PT MNC Televisi Network or iNewsTV), President Director of PT Hikmat Makna Aksara (2009-2011), Vice President Director of PT Media Nusantara Informasi (2008), President Director of PT Media Nusantara Press (2008-2009), and also held the positions as Commercial Director PT Multi Nitroma Kimia and President Director PT Bima Sepaja Abadi.

Aside from holding vital posts in the abovementioned companies, he is actively involved in various organizations, such as the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) as Vice Chairman since 2014. From 2015 until November 2019, he was Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Private Television Association (ATVSI). And from November 2019 until the present, he serves as the Chairman of ATVSI. He was Vice Chairman of the National Air Carriers Association (INACA) (2009-2011), Chairman of the Scheduled Flights Sector of the Indonesian National Air Carriers Association (INACA) (2011-2013) and Chairman I of Yayasan Jalinan Kasih since 2016 until today.

He graduated with a degree in Corporate Economics in 1985 from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Perbanas (STIE Perbanas).

M. Alfan Baharudin - Independent Commissioners

M. Alfan Baharudin

An Indonesian citizen, born on May 30, 1957, M. Alfan Baharudin has served as the Company’s Independent Commissioner since December 20, 2018. His appointment was enforced through the Deed of Meeting Resolution No. 57 dated December 20, 2018.

He completed his education at the Naval Academy majoring in Marine Corps in 1981, then with Indonesian National Army (TNI) for the Combat Staff Course in Bandung in 1987, Army Staff and Command School (SESKO AD) in 1996, TNI Staff and Command School (SESKOT NI) in 2002, and then completing LEMHANAS in 2005.

Prior to joining the Company, he was Commander of the Marine Corps 2 Infantry Battalion in 1998 and Marine Corps 2 Infantry Brigade in 2003. In 2006 he became Deputy Commander of the Presidential Security Forces (PASMPAMPRES), and from 2009 until 2012 he served once more as Commander of the Marine Corps. He ended his military career as Chief of the National Search and Rescue Agency in 2014.
