Angela Tanoesoedibjo Appreciates iNews Media Group Journalists on Duty During Eid Homecoming

SHARE THIS PAGE :JAKARTA – CEO of MNC Group, Angela Tanoesoedibjo, expressed her deep appreciation to the journalists of iNews Media Group who continued to carry out their journalistic duties during the 2025 Eid homecoming and return flow. She paid special tribute to media personnel who were willing to forgo returning to their hometowns in order to deliver important information to the public.
Angela stated that the contributions of iNews Media Group journalists were highly meaningful in ensuring the smooth flow of public information during the peak of national movement.
“I want to express my highest appreciation to our colleagues who did not go home because they were on duty during Eid. Some of them haven’t gone home for years due to their dedication to their work,” Angela said during the *halal bihalal* (post-Eid gathering) held at Jakarta Concert Hall, iNews Tower, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Monday (April 14, 2025).
The journalists in attendance received enthusiastic applause from all the event participants as a sign of appreciation for their hard work.
On the same occasion, Angela highlighted that the Eid homecoming season mudik is one of the largest waves of domestic mobility in Indonesia, during which the role of journalists is vital in delivering timely and accurate information.
“The Eid and mudik season is the biggest momentum in terms of daily domestic travel. All of you have made a major contribution,” she explained.
In her remarks, Angela also expressed her hope that the halal bihalal moment would serve as renewed motivation for the entire iNews Media Group team to continue working professionally and with full dedication. She added that the post-Eid period is the perfect time to rebuild positive energy in the workplace.
“Thank you to the entire iNews Media Group family who came. Today we are able to reconnect through this halal bihalal,” she said.
At the end of her speech, Angela extended Eid al-Fitr greetings to all employees and expressed hope that the halal bihalal gathering would further strengthen the family spirit within the workplace.
“Happy Eid al-Fitr. On behalf of the board of directors, we ask for your forgiveness, both physically and emotionally,” she concluded.
